A global cyber attack. An invisible threat spread

A global cyber attack.

An invisible threat spreads through the world’s digital networks.
Its objective: total control over global aviation.

⸻
A quantum chip inside Istanbul Airport.

Hidden deep within the structure. Silent. Untraceable.
A single device capable of bringing continents to a standstill.

⸻

Embedded within TCA’s design: “Endless Technology.”

What began as an architectural vision has become the center of a worldwide power struggle.
A structure symbolizing infinity now holds a secret no one anticipated.

⸻

The TCA team is contacted.

Architects become allies.
Their knowledge of the design’s hidden layers becomes the key to the investigation.

⸻

Design details must be decoded with TCA.

Every line, every surface, every reflection may contain a clue.
Only those who understand the design can locate the threat.

⸻
Locate the disguised quantum chip.

Within light and shadow, in the depth of infinite perspectives—
the enemy has left their code behind.

⸻

Extract the quantum chip.

Precision. Speed. No room for error.
One wrong move—and the digital nervous system of the world collapses.

⸻

Prevent the global collapse of civil aviation.

Once the chip is removed, the world breathes again.
Order is restored.
And Istanbul becomes the place where the future was saved.

ROSTOV ARENA — RUSSIA
A canopy for collective emotion.
The roar of 45,000 spectators. Above them, a roof that opens to the sky.
Our design for Rostov Arena brings the intensity of sport into dialogue with the branching geometry of nature. A tree-inspired architectural skin gives the stadium its identity, integrating solar panels into a composition of structure, light and shadow.
The steel framework and retractable roof unite a vast span with changing conditions—sheltering the crowd while preserving the possibility of an open-air experience. Around the arena, water reflects its silhouette, extending the architectural presence into the surrounding landscape.
Structure becomes canopy. The façade becomes an energy surface. The stadium becomes a place where thousands share a single moment.

Ara Güler Museum Beyoğlu

The museum is conceived as a passage from image to memory. Rather than isolating Ara Güler’s work in neutral rooms, the design connects exhibition, archive, research and daily rituals through a vertical sequence of glass steps, daylight and interior façades. The study room, dark room, relaxation room and Kafe Ara remain in their positions, allowing the museum to hold traces of lived space while opening new frames for visitors. Walls around the stair become shared surfaces for perception: light enters, photographs are approached, and the human-city relation at the centre of Güler’s work becomes spatial. — TCA · Tuncer Çakmaklı Architects

Xi’An Silk Road Museum

The Western Türkiye and Caucasus Region of the Xi’an New Silk Road Museum interprets the Silk Road not merely as a trade route, but as a vast network of encounter through which people, knowledge, cultures and migrations moved across continents.
The architectural concept reinterprets the historic caravanserai as a contemporary museum. Two interlocking squares define a sequence of open, semi-open and enclosed spaces, while courtyards, bridges, tunnels and thresholds guide visitors through both a physical and intellectual journey between cultures.
Light, water, earth, shadow and scent become architectural materials. Archive and exhibition spaces dedicated to Turkish, Armenian, Georgian, Azerbaijani and Caucasian cultures preserve their individual identities while remaining connected around a shared courtyard.
The museum is conceived not simply as a place that displays the past, but as a living cultural environment that can be experienced, felt and questioned.
The Silk Road of the past connected geographies.
The Silk Road of today and tomorrow must reconnect people, knowledge and diverse cultures around the idea of a shared world.

Sinpaş Holding Administration Building, Istanbul

Sinpaş Holding Administration Building, Istanbul
Between corporate presence and interior life

An administration building is encountered twice: first as a presence in the city, then as a sequence of spaces within. In TCA’s Sinpaş Holding Administration Building, the exterior views establish the building’s public face, while the atrium reveals another scale of experience—one shaped by movement, encounter and the view across the interior. Read together, these spaces shift the story from the image of an office building to the life it can hold.

• Bursa Seafood Cold Storage

In Bursa, next to the fish market designed and built by TCA, a cold storage facility is rising — less a monument than a responsibility. The sea that nourishes us demands careful stewardship.

The building follows a clear sequence: delivery, intake, shock freezing at –40 °C, and permanent storage at –18 °C. Each fish is preserved to travel safely from sea to table.

Its internal organization optimizes circulation, temperature zoning, and logistics. Administration oversees operations above; staff and technical areas below benefit from natural light through the site’s slope.

Architecturally, the structure is precise and restrained: aluminum façades for delivery and administration, insulated render in white and deep green tones elsewhere. Cooling systems and photovoltaic panels occupy the flat roof.

A functional structure — and a quiet architectural promise of respect for natural resources.

The Semantic Weight of the Threshold: Doors as Ope

The Semantic Weight of the Threshold: Doors as Operators of Space
To imagine the door as merely a hole in the wall, a trivial device to overcome masonry, is not just a simplification but an impoverishment of thought. The door is not a negligible detail but the first semantic act of architecture. It separates by establishing distinction: a Here from a There, an Inside from an Outside, the Profane from the Sacred.
For those who read architecture as text, the door is not punctuation but the beginning of the sentence. It is the paragraph that structures the narrative of space. The salon is not defined by its furniture but by the fact that a door marks it as such. Without the threshold, without this mark, space remains faceless, an amorphous container.
Yet true power lies not in the door but in the threshold. This modest line, once crossed, becomes a ritual. One knocks, one waits, one enters—and in that act the body, the voice, the inner posture are transformed. The threshold is less a place than a time: the suspended moment in which identity shifts, from guest to entrant, from outsider to participant.
In this semantics unfolds the philosophy of TCA. Against industrial indifference, which treats the door as a standardized spare part, they insist that each door has its own language. It becomes a vertical canvas, a scene upon which the dialogue between interior and exterior begins. The door to a library is not simply wood and hinge—its weight, texture, and handle articulate silence and contemplation. A communal door, by contrast, speaks in transparency and lightness.
Thus every act of opening becomes a conscious performance: a hand on the handle, a moment of anticipation, and the space behind reveals itself not as function but as experience. The door is not the limit but the prologue, the prelude to a poem of space, light, and silence.
Genius lies in transforming the most universal architectural element into a unique event of encounter—a discreet gesture that contains the very key to understanding the built world.

Opera, Art and Culture Center İzmir Positioned b

Opera, Art and Culture Center İzmir

Positioned between İzmir’s city park and its harbour, this proposal imagines the cultural centre not as an object placed within the landscape, but as the landscape itself rising toward the sea.
A continuous green carpet extends from the park, folds over the building and forms a new public ground for walking, gathering and performance. Beneath this inhabited topography, opera, theatre, exhibition and rehearsal spaces are brought together within a flexible cultural structure. An open-air amphitheatre connects the life of the building to the waterfront, allowing performances to move between interior and exterior, architecture and city.
The project’s central gesture is the transformation of the roof into public space—a cultural landscape where park, harbour and performance become part of one continuous urban experience.

TCA – On the Birth of Space from Thought TCA de

TCA – On the Birth of Space from Thought

TCA designs do not arise from the whim of form, but from a patient archaeology of thought. Before a line is drawn, there is a question. And this question is not superficial, but sedimentary—layer upon layer it moves through meanings, functions, memories, and expectations until it touches that invisible core from which space can be born.

Space here is not a neutral container. It is a hypothesis about life. Every function—dwelling, healing, learning, encountering—seeks its form the way a word seeks its sentence. Yet this search is not immediate. It requires a code. Not merely in the technical sense, but as a system of signs, as a grammar of possibilities.

Just as in semiotics every sign emerges through difference, space too emerges through boundary. A wall is not merely separation; it is articulation. An opening is not merely passage; it is promise. The design thus becomes an act of translation: thoughts are transformed into lines, lines into planes, planes into structures. Point to line. Line to plane. Plane to structure.

TCA understands this process as a form of research. It is not the quick answer that is sought, but the precise question. What boundary does life require in order to unfold? Where does function end and meaning begin? Space arises precisely at this threshold—where the practical becomes symbolic and the symbolic becomes practical.

“Space within space” in this thinking is not a decorative motif, but a semantic condensation. One space contains another, just as a text contains its subtext. Interior spaces become commentaries on exterior spaces; structures become commentaries on movement; light becomes a discourse on time. Architecture thus becomes a readable order—a text deciphered by the body as it moves through it.

There are cities whose histories do not merely res

There are cities whose histories do not merely rest in archives but continue to breathe through the joints of their walls, the shadows of their arcades, and the rhythm of their bazaars. Qazvin, in the northwest of Persia, is one such city. Here, the millennia meet like two old acquaintances who no longer need to explain themselves. For Persia—this high civilization that has patiently corrected, refined, and at times reinvented the world’s cultural landscape—remains a place where past and present coexist in a rare equilibrium.

It is in this setting, along the historic route between Tabriz and Tehran, that a new tourist complex is envisioned: a five-star hotel, a bazaar, and cultural institutions—an ensemble that demands not only to be built but to be read. For in Qazvin, architecture is never just stone; it is a text written in light and shadow, revised by generations, edited in every dome and every vault that stretches above the viewer like a carpet woven in stone.

Within this hermeneutic landscape, the design by TCA does not seek to imitate the historical architecture—a sin in architecture comparable to plagiarism in literature. Instead, TCA proposes a dialogue rather than an echo. The architectural heritage of the region is not quoted but interpreted: the play of light and shadow reappears, freed from nostalgia; the domes and vaults resonate again, without collapsing into museum-like replicas.
