The amphitheater to be built in the park area, which has been acquired by filling in Maltepe coast, has been designed intertwined with green without breaking down the new green area.
The coastline, which is covered with intensive urbanization, transportation and high buildings, includes the open-air theater in a green plane in order not to lose its new green cover.
Under the sloping surface, this green carpet which is cut off from the floor; is the roof for cafes, buffets and exhibition grounds and open-air theater entrances.
The activities can be opened for spectators on the lawn, or can be used as a relaxation and viewing terrace when there is no activity.
In the spring, the flower will be open to continuous and varied functions, offering shade with exhibition space and trees.
The open-air theater, as in ancient times, was fully seated in a topography of the green curved surface with a semicircular form, and its front and rear stage were brought to the dimensions of theater and concert.
For theater and opera performances, the backstage will be under the roof of the stage so that it can be used for full-scale stage decoration.
The stage roof plane is designed with photovoltaic glass where electricity from solar energy will be produced.
Backstage and artist rooms are placed as a structure of wood and steel structure next to the stage.
In order to bring green and nature back to our cities, the spaces that will allow social and cultural activities in balance with established filling areas have been designed with sustainable architectural designs and materials.
